The Humane Society of the US visits campus
The School of Fashion is pleased to welcome The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) for their Fall 2012 campus visit, Wednesday October 3rd, 2012. Students, and Faculty of all programs are invited to attend.
Members of The Humane Society will present educational information with special emphasis on sourcing, production and the use of fur as a material. Attendees are invited to engage in dialogue regarding the ethical aspects of fur. We will discuss perspectives of designer, consumer, and producer with consideration to the holistic eco-system of the material’s industry sector. No RSVP is needed, please arrive early as the sessions will start on time.
