  1. I interested in learning illustrator for designing home accessories- pillows, duvets, sheets, etc.
Is that the right course for me? Everyone wants me to be able to design with illustrator or Computer aided design in 3d

I also want to learn Autocad for interiors. I also do interiors as well as design home accessories.

    Hi there!

I’m very interested in taking this course at Parsons! Are there any books utilized by the course that I can buy and prepare to use before starting the course (i.e. photoshop/illustrator for fashion design)?

  5. Hello there,
I do not teach the Illustrator course, so I apologize I don’t know the current textbook. However I’m linking below the official New School Bookstore page, through Barnes and Noble. I imagine you can search for books that teachers use, so you can find the best one for your needs.
    Good luck!

  7. Hello Mendi,
Thanks for asking, I am not sure the level of the course. You can look up the teacher/faculty information from your Advisor on campus and contact them directly. They can tell you any pre-requisites and the work load for the class.

    Best of luck,

    Hello,
I am writing from Montreal. I am wondering if there is an intensive course offered for a couple of weeks perhaps in the summer which integrates both the basics in Photoshop and Illustrator for fashion.
My background is in Marketing and I lack the knowledge of these programs to advance my career. I would be interested in spending a couple of Weeks in NewYork to do this.
    Thanks
    Tyler

Best of luck in your journey.
