Keep Textiles out of Landfills
The Fashion School’s Sustainability Club is pleased to announce our Recycle Your Clothing drive, taking place starting today 12/10 through next Friday, 12/17/10. A large bin is in the lobby of 560 Seventh Avenue.
Please be sure to clean out your closets, as we can accept donations such as: clothing, pairs of shoes, belts, bags, bedding and towels. No small fabric swatches can be donated at this time.
Thank you to our partner, Wearable Collections, who is handling the pick-up of our donations. 5cents per pound will be donated to The Lower East Side Girls Club. So be sure to donate as much as you can this holiday season. Thank you for participating!
