Junky Styling Wardrobe Surgery – last days

Written by Timo Rissanen | Jun 18, 2010.

They’re back in NYC! Today and tomorrow will be the last two days of Junky Styling – Wardrobe Surgery. The pop-up store is hosted by Ronald Feldman Gallery to coincide with Resurrectine, an exhibition that Junky Styling is also a part of. The School of Fashion at Parsons has loaned the gallery a sewing machine, iron and mannequins to make this possible. The premise of Wardrobe Surgery is that you can take a garment you might have had for a long time but don’t wear to the gallery. Annika Sanders and Kerry Seager of Junky Styling will examine the garment, talk to you about it and your style in general, and then they’ll get to work and refashion the garment. Wardrobe Surgery started on Tuesday and by Wednesday the rack was full of garments ready for a makeover. Go check it out, and enjoy Resurrectine, too!
